Welcome to Madras Restaurant , a culinary journey that brings the rich flavors of Tamil Nadu to your plate. Our story begins with the vision of Sanaa Group of Companies founder, Mr. C.K. Pavithran, who set out to bring authentic South Indian cuisine to the heart of Chennai.
In 2000, on January 1st, we opened our doors as Hotel Sandhya Bhavan in the bustling neighborhood of T Nagar. From the very beginning, we aimed to offer more than just food—we wanted to offer an experience rooted in tradition, quality, and hospitality.
The essence of our restaurant lies in the vibrant flavors of Madras, where every dish tells a story of the region's rich culinary heritage. We believe in using only the finest ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible, to create dishes that stay true to the heart and soul of Tamil Nadu’s cuisine.
